NSW: Two people on board crashed firefighting helicopter

SYDNEY, Dec 9 AAP - Two people were on board a fire-fighting helicopter which has crashed
near Dorrigo on the NSW mid-north coast.

The Rural Fire Service (RFS) says one of its helicopters crashed about 11.30am (AEDT)
on Wednesday while it was helping the battle a bushfire in the area.

Paramedics are at the scene, the ambulance service says.

The condition of the two people aboard the helicopter is not yet known.
