NSW: Man charged with attempted murder after shots fired

Police say a group of people in Sydney's west are lucky to have escaped alive and uninjured
.. following a shooting incident yesterday.

They say a Doonside man will face court over the incident today .. after he allegedly
fired a number of shots from two firearms .. following a family dispute.

The man's family were uninjured .. and police say the shots appear to have lodged in
the ground floor of a home across the street.

Two teenage girls who were in the home at the time were upstairs when the shots were fired.

After driving away .. the 31-year-old man was later arrested on the M7 by the Highway Patrol.

He's been refused bail and will appear in Parramatta Bail Court today .. charged with
attempted murder .. firearms and drug offences.
